Amy "Strawberry" Fields, who had just won the Gaspar Invitational XXIV in June, became our first ever 2 time winner in a calendar year, taking home top honors in Monster Mash, the Gaspar Invitational XXVII on October 9, 2021 at Westchase Golf Club.

On a perfect Saturday afternoon, Amy Fields bested 43 other members to win her second Gaspar Invitational in the last 4 events.  It's the first time a player has won the Jose Gaspar title in a calendar year, and helped move Amy up the leaderboard in the Gaspar Cup Playoffs race.  She needs one more event to qualify for the Playoffs, leaving the November tournament her ticket to the Championship rounds.

Amy shot an 88, and made 22.5 points, besting her Quota of 17 by 5.5 points, winning $282.  She also had a B Flight Skin to win $20, and got one of the Closest to the Pins for another $31.  Her total take for the day was an amazing $333!

Finishing in 2nd place, earning Skallywag honors, was Dave Tomello.  He narrowly missed first place by 1/2 point after shooting a nice 83, making 27 points to finish +5 over his Quota of 22.  Dave earned $94 on the day for 2nd.

3rd place, and Deckhand honors, went to an ever-improving Ric Yambura, who shot an 82 to take home $31.  Ric made 27.5 points, which was +4.5 over his Quota of 23.  Ric also got an A Flight Skin for $30, for a total of $61 in winnings.

The Wench went to late replacement, Clayton "Quack" Quackenbush, who grinded to a 111, finishing -10 behind his Quota of 18 with 8 points.
