Hello, fellow pirates!  We are all set for a great event in July, our inaugural Gaspar Invitational on July 20th at the gorgeous Westchase Golf Club.  We negotiated a special Gaspar golf rate of only $36 + tax, which is their members' rate, and the course is in great shape.  They have already aerated for the summer, and we should have an awesome day of golf.

First tee time is 8:23am, so we need everyone to arrive NO LATER than 8:00am to get checked in and get your group assignments.  We'd prefer you're at the course an hour before the earliest tee time, but we realize that might not work for some people who have a hard time crawling out of bed on the weekends!

We will try to get everyone playing with the people they wish to have in their foursomes.  Here are the tee times:

We will receive FREE range balls as part of our package, and everyone will receive a Gaspar logo ball and Gaspar logo poker chip ball marker.

We are going to try playing at better courses, especially during the summer when the rates are a bit lower, and we've raised our Points Game to $15 per player.  As always, the Skins Game is optional, and remains at $5 per player.

Don't forget the Gaspar Challenges, as you may challenge ONE player in your group.  Another player in your group may challenge you as well, and we've lowered the minimum Gaspar Challenge wager to $5.  There is NO maximum.

We will have some cool inaugural Gaspar Invitational dri-fit style t-shirts for sale, and we are limiting them to 20 shirts.  You do not have to play in the July Gaspar Invitational to buy one of these special shirts, but we are giving the players the first shot at buying them.  They are only $20 each, and are printed on both sides.  The front will have our Gaspar Golf logo on the left chest, and the back will feature a graphic to commemorate our first ever event, which is called the U.S. Pirate Invasional.

We are encouraging ALL OF YOU to wear your favorite red, white and blue golf attire to help us celebrate (a bit late) the 243rd birthday of the USA.  We will be taking some fun photos at the event, so please do your best to dress the part.  The wilder the better.  Go USA!!

Thanks to all of you who have decided to be in the founding members of what we hope will be a large and awesome group of golfers in the Tampa Bay area.  Our goal is to get to 72 golfers at every Gaspar Challenge, and allow us to go off as a shotgun start.  We can't do it without you, our fellow pirates.  Tell your friends!
