Gaspar Golf made a major change to the tournament format, moving to 2 flights in the quota game for the first time ever.  The quota game will now feature an A Flight and a B Flight, with 25 quotas being the floor for the A Flight, which could be higher based on tournament entries each month.

In the A Flight, Rico Velez aka the Freakin' Rican Bomber, fresh with a new fitted driver from master fitter Joe Colbert at Bloomingdale, was the only player besting his quota, finishing at +1.5 while shooting an 83.  Rico's victory was helped by 3 skins, including a chip-in for eagle.  Freako won $131 in prize money, and will now see his quota rise by 5 points to a 31!

Yours truly equaled his worst round of 2025, shooting an 87 to finish in 2nd place at -2.5, including a brutal triple bogey on the final hole.  I earned $29 in prize money on the day.

The A Flight Wench was Brett Zurcher, who shot a respectable 81, but finished at -8.5.

Over in the B Flight, we had a tie at the top between Clayton "Quack" Quackenbush and Tony "Kingpin" Ambrose.  Due to Quack's 17 quota, and Tony's 19, he got a shot on the 1st 2 holes in the scorecard playoff.  Quack and Kingpin tied on the 1st playoff hole with the 1 stroke handicap, and they both tied with par on the hard #18 par 5, which was the 2nd hardest handicap hole.  The stroke advantage gave Quack the win, and Tony got runner-up.

Clayton shot 92, and was +2 in the quota game, to win $112 in prize money.  He also grabbed a skin and a CTP for another $32 to take home $144 on the day.

Tony shot a 90, also was +2, and won $33.

The B Flight Wench was Todd Broadbent, who repeated after earning this dubious title in the last tournament in September.  This may be the first back-to-back Wenches in Gaspar Golf history.  Someone please check on Todd today!
