In a group that featured a twisted ankle searching for a ball on their first hole, Zack "Zorro" Taylor fired an impressive 87, finishing with 23.5 points. This gave him the narrowest of victory over "Nature Boy" Arnie Rutkis, who carded a wow-factor 77 on one of the prettiest courses Gaspar Golf has played to date.

Zack's Quota of 14 was shattered by +9.5, squeaking by Arnie by 1/2 point, and earning a big payday of $296 for his impressive effort, along with his second Jose Gaspar title. Zack joins Mike Caporale, Amy Fields, David Harris and Antonio Galaviz as the other 2-timers on the Gaspar Golf Tour of Pirates.

Our all-natural Skallywag, the Nature Boy, cashed in on $98 for 2nd place. Arnie also grabbed an A-Flight Skin for another $24, for a total payday of $122.

A couple points behind Arnie was a trio of handsome lads, 2 from far away lands. Puerto Rican Playboy of Old, Frank Perez, tied Arnie for low round of the day with a 77, and was +7 over his Quota. The Polish Prince, Bill Kilichowski, hobbled his way to a +7 over his Quota after stepping in a hole and hurting his ankle on his first hole. The Nicest Guy on Tour, Dave Tomello, was only 2 strokes behind at 79, and was also +7 over his Quota. Alas, we go to the scorecards to decide 3rd place. After a tie on the hardest handicap hole, They Call Him Mellow Tomello came away with Deckhand honors with a par on the 2nd hardest hole, and $33.
