The 2nd Annual Gaspar Masters was held at the gorgeous Juliette Falls Country Club in Dunellon, about an hour and a half north of Tampa.  The day was beautiful, but got extremely windy after 9 holes of play.  The course was in perfect shape, and while the greens rolled beautifully, they were not overly fast.

Yours truly, "El Presidente", won with a score of +5.5.  I shot 81 with a bad break double bogey on a par 5, while forgetting I had 2 mulligans in my bag that I could have used.  My Quota was 22, and I made 27.5 points with a single bogey.  My title of Jose Gaspar also included wearing the Gaspar Masters Green Jacket, supplied by Zak Taylor.  Prize money was $317 for 1st place.  I also got one of the 2 A Flight Skins for an additional $70, for a total prize money day of $387.

Because I have become the latest 2-time winner, the Rules Committee is formulating a plan to make it MUCH harder for a repeat winner for at least 12 months.

2nd place went to a hot David Harris, who scorched the course with a 77, making 32 points, and finishing +5 over his Quota.  2nd place was worth $105 and the title of Skallywag.  He also won a CTP for another $33, with total prize money of $138.

3rd place went from Rick "Drano" Rhodes, who is a putting machine.  He won $35 and the title of Deck Hand.  He also won a B Flight Skin for another $36, and a total of $71 on the day.

The Wench was Rico "Suave" Velez, and was earned the hard way, with a -10 finish against his Quota of 27.
